10/18/2025. The Monkey Guy Service Team just completed a FIVE STAR major tree cutting and bamboo cutting project at my home. The team and the owner are focused and detailed, doing an excellent job including cleanup! Working with the owner on planning and costing out the project was a very fair and easy process. Miguel was super professional and a man of his word. He saw the gigantic tree and went over the details around removal. He showed up 2 days later with his team of excellent hardworking guys and went to work to remove this nuisance tree. He was able to get it all out, including the roots, and they managed to remove the tree with absolutely no damage around. The owner, Miguel, rolls up his sleeves and works alongside his team. I needed a landscaper and I couldn’t be happier that I found Monkey Guy. He maintains my property, which has a lot of greenery front and back. Recently, I asked him to edge the front of my house and use stones as a filler. He was just wonderful, showing me all different kinds of stones, rocks, and mulch. Five-star experience from beginning to end. We needed 30 neglected ficuses removed in order to start a new landscaping plan. Miguel came out immediately and quoted a great price, along with the ability to do the job the very next day. Great communication throughout the process, as I wasn't able to be on site the day of the removal. He did the job exactly as described and communicated, with photos before, during, and after, and left the site spotless and perfectly backfilled. We had great service from this company in Ft Lauderdale. They came over the next day after we called, gave us a quote on a Thursday and did the work on Saturday. They were able to cut down a tree, relocate another palm and take out 3 tree stumps definitely the best tree service near me. Miguel (Monkey Man) does a great job with getting up high and getting the seed pods from our palms. Very easy to work with as he manages it as needed which is nice. We also have him do our landscaping which is nice to, if you need tree trimming or lawn care hire him the best!

Miguel was recommended to me by trusted friend. So many other companies never return a call. Miguel communicated with me immediately and was completely dependable. He and his crew came and trimmed my coconut palms, one of which was close to the power lines and transformer box. They did an incredible job from start to finish. I definitely recommend them. I hope that they will be doing a landscape cleanup and mulch application for me soon.

I'm very pleased with the work from Miguel and his crew. Called to get a quote for a tall, long hedge to be trimmed and to clean up several tall palms. Have been needing to replace our landscaper for a while and found Miguel on Google. I was impressed by his reviews. I called him for a quote… he answered immediately and within 2 hours he was at our house giving us a quote and explaining his recommendations to us. We scheduled him and his helpers for the following morning… they were on-time, efficient, communicative, and thorough. They even took all of the extra scraps and clippings and disposed of them for us which we really appreciated because it all wouldn’t fit in our yard waste bin. We now have them scheduled monthly. This is a legit Monkey Guy who serves with skill, agility, intelligence, safety and a big smile! My palm tree was falling over onto my neighbor's side of the fence precariously leaning on another palm tree. The risk of the tree falling completely at any moment was real. I called around at 5:30PM but only the Miguel would leave his wife's cooking to rush to my place and get the work done. He used all kinds of physics and rope tying (advanced boy scout style - triple eagle badge whatever) ingenuity to tie the palm tree to other trees and leverage the entire tree back onto my property were it was cut down surgically, section by section. Then he proceeded to cleanup the pieces being very respectful of all the delicate furniture and garden stuff everywhere in my back yard. Thank you Miguel - The Monkey Guy!

These guys are the best and did a wonderful job. Hired them to cut down a huge Ackee tree and trim back a big Mango tree. The crew arrived on time and took much caution to avoid dropping large branches onto our roof and fence. The clean up was even better. The driveway, pathway and patio were comply clean and free of debris including saw dust. I’ve hired other companies in the past and I’ve never been happy about how they left the place looking. Miguel of Monkey Guy Tree Service did an excellent job pruning an enormous Royal Poinciana tree, he had to go on the roof to complete the job, there were no broken roof tiles, , everything was spotless clean when he left & he charged a very fair price!!! I’d recommend this company without any hesitation!!!!!

My first experience with Miguel was when he was Recommended by my Lawn Service to trim the coconuts from my palms. He came on time, with his wife, and as his name implies was up the tree with all his Safety Equipment and in a Flash had 4 trees denuded of the large number of coconuts. He lowered them down and also guided the cuttings to make sure they damaged nothing when they came down. Amazing. His Wife was just as fast as making them disappear from our yard. The price was fair and all was cleaned up before he left. When he needs help with Larger jobs he has helpers available. Another time I needed some large Travelers Palms planted from huge planters. He had several helpers come and dig the holes and move the heavy (8') trees into place. Full cleanup again. He is the hardest working man I know. When my Lawn Service went out of business I called Monkey Guy to see if he knew anyone and he said "We Cut Lawns Too!". He is now our Lawn Service and very happy to have him and know him...
